The latest from the Pursuit of Sexiness web series finds Nicky and Sheer on a hunt through their friend group for “like a cute guy, someone I could like drunkly make out with and be awkward around.” They find a good-looking prospect: “I wanna suck the filling out of that Twinkie.” “I’d like to let the juice slide down my esophagus.” “I’d like to cut him into tiny pieces, like a chicken.” Elsewhere in amusing girl-on-guy objectification, the Onion’s review of Catching Fire is great.
A shocking case of racial profiling has emerged in Florida after it was revealed that a black convenience store employee had been arrested dozens of times for trespassing in and around the store where he works — during work hours.
The first episode details a date night got wrong, where neither of the two leading ladies get quite as lucky as they’d hoped to. Who can’t relate to that? We’re looking forward to what these women come up with next.
Our love for (some may call it an “obsession with”….To-may-to, Why-don’t-you-ever-call-me-I-just-want-to-live-inside-of-you-like-a-vacation-home-oh) hilarious ladies, all-around babes, and real-life pals Sasheer Zamata and Nicole Byer iswell-documented. Because the world is filled with many blessings, these comedic all-stars have teamed up to create a new web series,Pursuit of Sexiness. It’s as perfect and funny and #real as you think it would be.
Here’s the hilarious first episode of “Pursuit of Sexiness,” a new web series written by and starring Hairpin favorites Sasheer Zamata and Nicole Byer as two goal-oriented young women who are “looking for good men, easy money and free meals but would be satisfied to break even and find a guy who doesn’t prematurely ejaculate.” (Warning that certain parts are NSFW, and if the description makes you uncomfortable, the video will likely do the same but I think the way they are overtly drawing on stereotype here, and subverting it with realism, is brilliant.)
